What do you need to know about the solar panel kit?

The inverter included in the kit cannot feed back into the grid, so if a grid connection is not established then you do not need to obtain a licence from your supplier. When using this inverter, a part of the grid must be disconnected from the service provider, which is supplied by this inverter from the solar panels and the battery.
The battery (included in the kit) is essential for the operation of the inverter. The battery is used to stabilise the system so that if there is insufficient sunshine, the consumers can still operate without interruption and without using electricity from the supplier.
It is not necessary for the inverter to be connected to the mains to operate, although it is recommended. It is possible to operate in bypass mode, i.e. if there is insufficient power from either the sun or the batteries, the grid can be used to provide the necessary power. This can, of course, be turned off if you do not want to use the grid at all. (But there are a number of energy use modes available in the settings, but they never produce power back to the grid.)
The kit includes a short battery cable and cables to connect the solar panels permanently. As the cable lengths required depend on the location of the installation, we can quote separately if you require cables and connectors.
The inverter can harness 4000W of solar energy and can be loaded up to 2400W to the consumer. In case there is more solar energy than the receivers can use, the extra energy will be used to charge the batteries (if necessary)
