The charger is powered from a standard 3-pin 16A socket, while the car is connected via a Type 2 car charger connector.

European plug standard type 2

The charger has a Type 2 connector, which is now an official European Union standard, and will charge electric cars equipped with a suitable charging socket. The type 2 connector has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 pins are for charging and 2 are for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. The Qoltec brand charger supports four current modes: 16A, 20A, 24A and 32A. It is worth mentioning that the Type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with a charging power of more than 3 kW.

Multi-function LCD display

The product is equipped with a multi-function 2.4-inch LCD display and LEDs indicating the charging status. On the display we know the following:
- Set the current value with the button: 16A, 20A, 24A, 32A;
- check the exact charging time,
- set the charging time delay simply with the button with the clock icon,
- thanks to the built-in plug temperature sensor, it monitors the operating temperature of the charger in real time, the charger immediately interrupts operation if the safe value is exceeded, and automatically resumes operation when the temperature returns to the normal level,
- monitors the progress of the charging process.
