European standard type 2 connector

The charger has a Type 2 connector, which is now an official European Union standard, and will charge electric cars equipped with a suitable charging socket. The type 2 connector has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 pins are for charging and 2 are for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. The Qoltec brand charger supports four types of current 8A, 10A, 13A and 16A. It is worth mentioning that the Type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with a charging power of more than 3 kW.

The product is equipped with a multi-function 2.4-inch LCD display and LEDs indicating the charging status. On the display we know the following:
- Set the current value with the button: 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A;
- check the exact charging time,
- set the charging time delay simply with the button with the clock icon,
- monitors the operating temperature of the charger in real time thanks to the built-in plug temperature sensor, the charger immediately interrupts operation if the safe value is exceeded, and automatically resumes operation when the temperature returns to the normal level,
- monitors the progress of the charging process,

Delayed charge function

Intuitive handling, Intelligent charging delay function for 1, 2, 5 or 8 hours
You can set a delayed charging start time of 1, 2, 5 or even 8 hours and you can save energy costs with, for example, the night tariff, so it is more economical because we do not overload the system. Simply plug the charger into the power source and press the delay button a certain number of times before plugging in the car. By pressing the button with the clock icon, charging is delayed by 1 hour after each click.
