Qoltec Smart charger for AGM GEL LiFePO4 SLA batteries 12V 40A

The Monolith smart charger charges the battery using intelligent 3-stage charging, which includes adjusting the charging voltage and current to the current state of charge of the battery.

The charging consists of 3 stages:
The BULK stage is to identify the battery and its needs , charging to 80% of the battery capacity, with maximum current and high voltage held constant,
The BOOST stage is the so-called absorption charging, the charging voltage is kept constant between 14.1VDC and 14.8VDC, reducing the charging current.
The FLOAT stage is the last charging cycle, called sustained charging, in which the battery has already reached 95% of its capacity and gradually reaches 100%, the charging voltage is reduced to a constant value between 13.0VDC and 14.0VDC. VDC and 13.8 VDC, the charging current automatically decreases to 0A as the battery is charged.

The current charge level of the battery is indicated by the LED on the charger.

The intelligent 3-stage charging has several advantages, first of all:

- Equipped with a DIP switch - this charger component allows you to change battery charging settings - it allows you to set 7 different SW combinations, the charging mode can be set according to the battery type, e.g. charging SLA / Gel / AGM / flooded / calcium and LiFePO4 lead-acid batteries, as well as constant voltage power supply mode,
- 3-stage charging mode - provides much faster, more efficient and full charging without voltage drop problems,
- Durable aluminium housing - perfectly conductive and corrosion resistant,
- Built-in active cooling - automatically switches on when charging and protects the charger especially when charging heavily discharged batteries,
- LED indication of charger operation,

- Features short circuit, reverse polarity, overcharge and overheat protection,
- Automatic switch-off at the end of the charging process - switches off the charging mode and remains in sleep mode while the battery is charging,
- Supplied with all necessary wiring and fuse.
