Qoltec LiFePO4 battery 12.8V | 24Ah | 307.2Wh | BMS | PV, UPS, RV, boat
Description
Achieve efficiency at the highest level
If you are looking for a safe and long-lasting energy source, Qoltec LiFePO4 batteries will be a very good investment. This type of battery is all about thermal and chemical stability, allowing you to work in extremely extreme conditions without reducing the battery's performance and maintaining its full capacity.
Advanced LiFePO4 technology - more power, less charging
Our batteries are highly efficient and resistant to deep discharge. They are characterized by a longer lifespan, while maintaining more than 2000 charge and discharge cycles, which is a significant advantage over other batteries currently available on the market. They are also non-polluting, recyclable, non-toxic and non-flammable
Provide a reliable source of energy
- 100% depth of discharge,
- very low self-discharge rate,
- no memory effect, very efficient cycle and buffering,
- longer life - more than 2000 charge and discharge cycles,
- 100% non-combustible battery - no risk of overheating, ignition or explosion,
- 100% maintenance-free, no electrolyte topping up required,
- lower weight and at the same time higher energy density e.g. lead acid batteries,
- environmentally friendly - no toxic gases or chemicals are released,
- can be operated in any position, no need to be levelled,
- shockproof.
LiFePO4 battery applications
The wide range of advantages and functional benefits of lithium iron phosphate batteries means that they meet the expectations of even the most demanding users and are perfect for:
- photovoltaics, energy storage, off-grid systems,
- uninterruptible power supplies, UPS, voltage converters,
- alarm systems, access control systems,
- caravans, trailers,
- electric cars,
- yachts, boats, motorboats,
- golf carts, wheelchairs,
- emergency lighting,
- power tools, lawn mowers,
- electric toys, quads.
BMS or intelligent battery management system
All Qoltec LiFePO4 batteries are equipped with a BMS, which is an essential element of battery protection. It constantly monitors the battery operation, protects the cells from overheating, overcharging and deep discharge, and interrupts the power supply if the values that pose a potential danger to the battery and connected devices are exceeded.
How to connect Lifepo4 batteries correctly?
Our LiFePO4 batteries can be connected in series and parallel. The only condition is not to damage the battery, use batteries with the same voltage, capacity and degree of wear. If you want to increase the voltage, the battery must be connected in series, i.e. (+) with the (-) sign. If we want to increase the capacity, we connect (+) with (+) in parallel with (+), and (-) with (-).
A maximum of 4 cells can be connected to each other. For example, by connecting four batteries with a capacity of 24Ah and a voltage of 12.8V in parallel, the capacity increases to 96Ah, and the voltage remains unchanged at 12.8V, in case of series connection, the voltages add up. up to 51.2 V, and the capacity remains unchanged at 24 Ah. The following illustrations show how to properly connect the batteries.
