Victron Energy EM540 3 phase/65A meter

The Carlo Gavazzi 3-phase EM24 RS485 is now replaced by the EM540 RS485.

The new EM540 meter will be in stock as the EM24 was.

For the installers there is no difference as the communication to our GX devices is integrated since Venus OS v2.90

As a plus, these are advantages for the EM540 comparing it to the older EM24:

• Faster measurements, which makes ESS responding faster
• A smaller form factor, decreasing needed space in cabinets
• Better access to RS485 connectors, for easy installing

The EM540 communicates only through RS485 and can therefor be used with our RS485 to USB cables:

• ASS030572018 RS485 to USB interface 1.8m
• ASS030572050 RS485 to USB interface 5m

For now there is no successor for the 'EM24 Ethernet' available yet, so the ethernet version will remain available.
