What Makes the ULTRA HYBRID 3600 Stand Out?
It features a built-in pure sine wave inverter, which outputs a true sinusoidal waveform, identical to the voltage in public utility grids. This makes it suitable for powering inductive loads such as power tools, air compressors, refrigerators, air conditioners, and freezers.
How Does the Hybrid Inverter Combine On-Grid and Off-Grid Modes?
On-grid mode:
When the photovoltaic system is connected to the user’s electrical grid through a bidirectional energy meter, the inverter works like a typical grid-tied inverter. It converts DC power from solar panels into AC, supplying household appliances. Excess energy is exported to the public power grid.
Off-grid mode:
In this mode, the inverter operates independently from the grid. Solar energy is stored in batteries, which then power connected loads.
Battery Recommendations
For use in solar installations (cyclical battery charging), we strongly recommend batteries designed for this purpose, such as:

Be sure to correctly set the battery type and charging parameters in the inverter settings. Incorrect configuration can damage the battery and void the warranty.
AGM batteries (e.g., AGM, AGM OPTI, AGM VPRO) are not recommended for cyclic use in PV systems. These are designed for standby applications like UPS systems, and using them in solar setups can lead to premature capacity loss.
Incorrect charging current settings can also result in battery damage and loss of warranty.
