How does a hybrid inverter combine on-grid and off-grid functions?
On-grid mode:
	When the photovoltaic installation is connected to the user’s electrical system through a bidirectional energy meter, the hybrid inverter operates like a standard on-grid inverter. It converts direct current (DC) generated by solar panels into alternating current (AC) used to power household electrical devices. Excess energy is sent through the inverter to the power grid.
Off-grid mode:
	In off-grid mode, the hybrid inverter operates independently of the user's power grid. The energy harvested from solar panels is stored in batteries and then delivered to connected loads.
Battery Recommendations
When using ULTRA HYBRID inverters in photovoltaic systems (with cyclic battery charging), we recommend using batteries specifically designed for such use, e.g.:
	GEL VPRO SOLAR, DEEP CYCLE VPRO SOLAR, or LiFePO4 lithium batteries.
Make sure to select the correct battery type and the appropriate charge current in the inverter settings. Incorrect charging parameters can lead to battery damage and void the warranty.
Using maintenance-free AGM batteries (e.g.: AGM, AGM OPTI, AGM VPRO series) in photovoltaic systems (with cyclic charging) may result in faster degradation and loss of capacity. These batteries are best suited for buffer operation, such as voltage backup and UPS systems.
As with any battery type, incorrect charging current settings can cause damage and void the warranty.
