The PATONA Premium Battery Grip BG-E22 battery grip for Canon EOS R offers better handling of the camera, especially when shooting vertically and using heavy lenses. The camera's operating time is significantly extended with the battery grip, as the two battery compartments hold 2 Canon LP-E6N batteries each. The integrated charging function charges the batteries directly in the battery grip (AC adapter included). The advanced ergonomic and non-slip battery grip makes the camera much easier to hold and use.
The built-in flash sync socket is used, for example, to connect wired studio flashes.
